Role Summary:

Senior Officer – IT Security objective is to support the efforts of the DMCC management in their strategic as well as tactical roles and to maintain a secure information landscape. Information Security Analyst will contribute to proactive risk management and threat mitigation. Implement security systems to protect the organisation’s assets from cyber-attacks and help maintain security standards.

Role Summary:

• Maintain ISMS documents such as Policies, procedures, compliance evidence and registers.
• Monitor alerts and logs for security issues and mitigate them proactively.
• Monitors and restricts access to sensitive, confidential, or other high-security data.
• Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Liaise and maintain compliance audit documents and facilitate timely closure of all observations.
• Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment and penetration testing and fix detected vulnerabilities on time.
• Conduct Control Self Assessment and highlight gaps in governance.
• Conduct user awareness Stay current on IT security trends and news.
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management.
• Research IT Innovation products. Conduct Proof of Concepts and trials.
• Support IT Operations tasks and Projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree holder preferably in IT, Computer Science.
• 3+ year’s experience in Information Security.

Strong knowledge of:

• Knowledge of Pentest, firewalls, antivirus, encryption, access management, data protection and related Information security protocols.
