Theology and Mission-Bachelor at Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary

Program Overview

The Bachelor’s degree in Theology and Mission offers students a choice of three minor fields: Congregational Leadership and Multiplication, Evangelism and Apologetics, and Biblical Studies and Teaching. The curriculum covers spiritual formation, Bible studies, theology, mission, church history, practical theology, general courses, electives, and a diploma paper or project. The program is offered in parallel curricula in Estonian, English, and Russian.

Entrants from the EU

Applicants must supply:

• Complete Application form
• Motivation letter
• Send following documents
  • A secondary education  certifying document copy (preferably PDF). International applicants must show the original diploma upon their arrival to Estonia;
  • A valid identity document (passport) copy;
  • Portrait photo (jpg, png, pdf format).

• Recommendation from a pastor in a congregation in which the student has been active for at least 12 months. Form will be sent directly from the Seminary to the pastor indicated on the application form.
• Agreement with local church in Estonia (If church membership was outside Estonia) 
• Complete our Bible knowledge quiz to help us judge your readiness to study (online form is sent by e-mail after all other documents are submited)
• Come for a face-to-face interview scheduled usually during the third week of August.
• If accepted, be ready for your first study session that usually takes place the last week of August. See the Study Session Schedule for details.
• Sign the contract provided by the BMTS during your first study session.
