What the Program Is

The Applied Computer Science program at Constructor University is a full-time, distance-learning undergraduate program leading to a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. The program focuses on applied computer science, software engineering, and programming, with additional areas including artificial intelligence, data analysis, and machine learning. Students study primarily through asynchronous online lectures and exercises, complemented by tutorials, hands-on sessions, and collaborative remote work.

Study Structure and Requirements

The program has a duration of 6 semesters and includes Management and Leadership modules during the second and third study years. Students develop practical skills in programming and software development while also gaining fundamental business knowledge and learning how innovations can be transferred into marketable products. The program is taught in English and has a Winter/Fall intake only. Admission requires an application form, school and university records, an essay, a recommendation letter, an Abitur or international equivalent, and an English language test such as TOEFL. SAT/ACT may be required where applicable. Tuition is €5,000 per academic year.
