Applied Sustainable Engineering is a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) full-time programme at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences with a standard duration of 8 semesters. The programme focuses on sustainable engineering and offers specializations in Energy and Building Technology or Production and Plastics Engineering. The first three semesters are taught in English, while instruction from the fourth semester onwards is in German. The first semester uses a blended learning format, followed by in-person study in Ansbach.
The programme starts in the Summer Semester and has no admission restriction. Applicants need English B2, demonstrated by IELTS 6.0 or higher or TOEFL 84 or higher, as well as a German university entrance qualification. German knowledge is helpful but is not required for admission. Tuition is €1,000 per semester for non-EU citizens. The seventh semester is a practical semester, and the eighth semester includes the Bachelor’s thesis.
