American Studies

The Master of Arts in American Studies at Heidelberg University is a full-time graduate program focused on the interdisciplinary study of American Studies. The program covers cultural studies, economics, history, and law, and is taught in English. The standard period of study is 4 semesters, with admission available for the winter semester only. For the winter semester, the application period is from April 1, to September 30.

No general tuition fees are charged for consecutive Master’s degree programs at Heidelberg University. However, international students from countries outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) are charged €1,500 per semester in Baden-Württemberg. Admission requirements are subject to the applicable admission regulations.
