Applied Materials Science

The Applied Materials Science program at Ernst Abbe University, Jena is an English-taught master’s program designed for graduates seeking to deepen their knowledge of materials science and materials technology. The program covers major material groups including metals, ceramics, polymers, glasses, and composite materials, with particular emphasis on modern materials characterization methods, materials informatics, and data-driven materials development.
