Archaeological Sciences and Human Evolution

The M.Sc. in Archaeological Sciences and Human Evolution is a two-year, research-oriented graduate program focusing on the scientific methods used to address archaeological and historical questions. Students begin with an overview of the different disciplines of natural science archaeology in the first semester before specialising in one discipline. The program focuses on methods and topics rather than specific historical periods or geographical regions and covers areas including archaeometry, archaeobotany, geoarchaeology, palaeoanthropology, palaeogenetics, and zoo archaeology.
