Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück is a 6-semester interdisciplinary undergraduate program taught primarily in English, with German also used. It combines computer science, mathematics, philosophy, computational linguistics, neuroscience, psychology, artificial intelligence, and related fields. Students study areas including artificial intelligence and machine learning, cognitive psychology, communication, neuroscience, behaviour, ethics, and society, while developing research and problem-solving skills.

Study and Admission

The program is offered in the winter semester and includes an integral opportunity for a stay at a university abroad. The final semester includes a major research project and Bachelor’s thesis. Admission is without restriction. Applicants must provide English language skills at B2 level and German language skills at B1 level according to the specified admission regulations.
