The Bachelor of Arts in European Cultures and Society at Europa-Universität Flensburg is a 6-semester, full-time international undergraduate programme in Flensburg. Taught in English, it is an interdisciplinary degree focused on European Studies, with an emphasis on Sociology and Social Sciences, Cultural Studies, and the Humanities. Students can specialise in European Cultures or European Society, with opportunities for projects in research, journalism, art and scenography, and entrepreneurship. A compulsory semester abroad develops intercultural communication skills, foreign-language proficiency, and understanding of other cultures and societies.
Admission is without restriction. Applicants require a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or the specified subject-linked higher education entrance qualification in Economics or Social Affairs. An adequate command of English is also required, with language certificates not older than two years at the beginning of the requested semester.
