Programme Overview

The Aeronautical Engineering Master’s programme at Kaunas University of Technology prepares specialists for advanced challenges in the international aerospace industry. The programme combines aeronautical mechanics, electronics, and systems design, enabling students to analyse and develop conventional and unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, and satellites.

Programme Structure and Career Opportunities

Students can specialise in Conventional and Unmanned Aircraft Systems Engineering, focusing on aeronautical materials, aircraft structures, and systems, or Space Engineering and Exploration, focusing on satellite and unmanned aircraft systems design and control. The programme develops expertise in aerodynamics, orbital mechanics, telecommunications, UAV control, data transmission and processing, mathematical modelling, 3D modelling, and CAE simulation using tools such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and Ansys. Graduates can work in aerospace research, engineering, analysis, consultancy, or management, or continue to PhD studies.

Admission Requirements

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences, technologies, mathematical sciences, computer sciences, or physical sciences, with at least 15 credits in aeronautical engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering. English proficiency requires IELTS ≥ 6.0, TOEFL ≥ 85, CEFR ≥ C1, or previous studies completed in English.
