The Mechatronics Master’s programme at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) develops interdisciplinary expertise for Industry 4.0 and 5.0 applications, combining mechanical engineering, automation, robotics, computational design, and advanced manufacturing. Students gain research and practical experience in areas such as smart manufacturing, automated production, transport, aerospace, and biomedical applications.
The programme covers automation, robotics, advanced structures, virtual and physical prototyping, adaptive control, sensors, actuators, dynamics, multiphysics simulation, and engineering research. Students work with industry-standard tools including SolidWorks, Ansys, Comsol, and Siemens Plant Simulation, as well as industrial robots, 3D scanners, 3D printers, and precision measurement equipment. Graduates can pursue R&D engineering careers or continue to PhD-level research.
Applicants need a Bachelor’s degree in engineering sciences, technologies, mathematical sciences, computer sciences, or physical sciences. English proficiency requires IELTS ≥ 6.0, TOEFL ≥ 85, CEFR ≥ C1, or previously completed studies in English.
