What the program is

The LegalTech (LL.M.) Master’s programme at Mykolas Romeris University combines law and technology to prepare professionals with multidisciplinary competencies for technology-driven legal services. The programme covers areas including artificial intelligence, big data analytics, open data, blockchain, crowdsourcing, semantic technologies, and gamification.

Study structure and admission

The curriculum focuses on GDPR, intellectual property, cybersecurity, cybercrime and forensics, FinTech, RegTech, AI and Law, Semantic Legal Web, and robotics. Students participate in hackathons, meetups, workshops, and international and regional competitions, with an opportunity to develop a LegalTech startup in the MRU LegalTech startup zone. Study materials are provided online. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent first university degree in Law with a minimum 3-year study duration and demonstrate English at B2 level. Tuition is €3,518 for both EU and non-EU citizens.
