What the program is

The Master’s program in Development of Cultural Heritage at European Humanities University focuses on preparing qualified specialists to develop innovative, research-intensive products using the potential of cultural heritage. The program incorporates European trends in the cultural and creative sector and builds on previous master’s programs in cultural heritage protection, interpretation, and historical and cultural heritage.

Program structure and career opportunities

The program provides advanced methodologies for scientific research and practical activities, with 90–96 ECTS credits. Students can study in Russian and English and may participate in international exchange programs including Erasmus+, DAAD, and the Bard College Network. Graduates can work as specialists, experts, consultants, coordinators, managers, or representatives within international, governmental, and non-governmental organizations focused on cultural heritage. The qualification can also support entrepreneurship, career advancement, doctoral studies, and further specialization. The full-time study duration is 1.5 years, with tuition of €3,500 for both EU and non-EU citizens.

Admission and language requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrate English proficiency at B2 level or higher through an online examination or TOEFL/IELTS certification. Eligible EHU bachelor’s graduates may use a final English proficiency score of 8 or higher. Applicants must submit the required academic and identification documents, complete the electronic application form, and participate in an online interview. Applicants educated outside Lithuania must complete the mandatory and free qualification recognition procedure through the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Education (SKVC).
