What the program is

The Master’s program in Visual Plasticity at European Humanities University introduces students to contemporary interdisciplinary practices in visual research, experimental and innovative artistic techniques, and individual creative projects. Students develop their own creative methods through practical and research-based work.

Program structure and career opportunities

The program includes master classes led by specialists from Belarus, Lithuania, France, Estonia, Portugal, and Israel, as well as practical visual research through field schools in Vilnius, St. Petersburg, Florence, and Athens. The program comprises 120 ECTS credits and is taught in Russian and English. Graduates can pursue careers as art directors, media artists, animation project directors, and artists responsible for project art concepts, or continue to doctoral studies at universities in Europe and the USA. The full-time study duration is 2 years, with tuition of €3,700 for both EU and non-EU citizens.

Admission and language requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and demonstrate English proficiency at B2 level or higher through an online examination or TOEFL/IELTS certification. Eligible EHU bachelor’s graduates may use a final English proficiency score of 8 or higher. Applicants must submit the required academic and identification documents, complete the electronic application form, and participate in an online interview. Applicants educated outside Lithuania must complete the mandatory and free qualification recognition procedure through the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Education (SKVC).
