The Marine Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme is a full-time Professional Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences in Maritime Engineering at the Lithuanian Maritime Academy. The programme prepares students to work as electro-technical officers and engineers in the maritime industry, focusing on the safe operation, investigation, and management of ships’ electromechanical, electronic, control, propulsion, and auxiliary equipment. Studies combine engineering and technology knowledge with practical training, including 12 months of mixed practice in workshops and on board ships, as well as training with engineering simulators and cooperation with the maritime industry.
The programme has a duration of 3.5 years and begins in October. Tuition is €3,120 for EU citizens and €3,900 for non-EU citizens. Applicants must provide secondary education documentation, relevant state examination certificates, and proof of at least B1 English proficiency through TOEFL, IELTS, LanguageCert IESOL, or another accepted test. A medical certificate for seagoing studies is also required. The application deadline is July 31, and the admission fee is €100 and non-refundable.
