The Biophysics Master’s programme at Vilnius University prepares specialists for research, development, education, business, and public-sector roles involving modern biomedical sciences, environmental studies, and ecology. Students develop knowledge of biological systems, including their general principles of operation and pathology, together with an understanding of modern biophysical methods, data analysis, and scientific investigation planning.
The interdisciplinary programme combines biological systems with modern methods from physics and chemistry, mathematical modelling, and data analysis. Students can individualise their studies by selecting elective courses and laboratory work for a research project. Graduates can work in high-technology industries, research and development, education, medical institutions, and private or public agencies, or continue to doctoral studies in life sciences.
The programme is 2 years full-time. Tuition is €5,538 for EU citizens and €6,500 for non-EU citizens.
