The Systems Biology Master’s programme at Vilnius University is an interdisciplinary programme developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine, Life Sciences Center, and Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. It prepares students for rapidly developing areas including biological systems modelling, bioengineering, synthetic biology, bioinformatics, neurobiology, and data analysis.
The programme combines life sciences with advanced data analysis, information technologies, computational methods, statistical modelling, bioinformatics, and practical research methodologies. Students develop the ability to apply statistical models and modern programming tools to generate reliable, quantifiable biological results. Graduates can pursue careers in universities, healthcare institutions, research centres, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, and integrated science-business environments, or continue to PhD studies in related fields.
The programme is 2 years full-time. Tuition is €5,641 for EU citizens and €5,641 for non-EU citizens.
