The Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics Master’s programme at Vilnius University uses the latest theoretical and practical knowledge within an interdisciplinary science and technology environment. The programme prepares highly skilled specialists for professional research activities focused on developing scientific and technological solutions applicable to environmental science, materials research, and biomedicine.
The programme develops interdisciplinary knowledge connecting physics, chemistry, medical physics, and biophysics. Graduates can work in multidisciplinary research and production teams, participate in high-technology manufacturing and business, manage technological production processes, and work in state expert, control, and management institutions requiring knowledge across natural sciences. Students can also continue to doctoral studies in natural sciences at the VU Institute of Chemical Physics.
The programme is 2 years full-time. Tuition is €5,641 for EU citizens and €6,500 for non-EU citizens.
