The General Practice Nursing programme at SMK College of Applied Sciences is a 3.5-year full-time Bachelor’s degree focused on science- and evidence-based nursing practice. Taught in the context of professional nursing, the programme develops skills in patient care, disease prevention, health promotion, modern healthcare technologies, and the holistic assessment of patients, families, and communities. Students study subjects including anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, pharmacology, general and clinical nursing, community nursing, mental health nursing, intensive care, surgical care, obstetrical nursing, and child nursing. The programme is available in Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipėda.
The stated tuition fee is €3,350 for EU citizens and €440 for non-EU citizens. The programme lists an autumn intake with a 2026 deadline of 07/01/2026 and a spring intake with a 2026 deadline of 12/01/2026; the general start date is 09/01. Applicants must provide the required educational documents, references, and proof of English proficiency such as IELTS 5.5+, TOEFL 69+, FCE/CAE, LanguageCert IESOL B2+, PTE Academic 59+, or Duolingo English Test 100+. Applicants with previous education in English may be exempt from a separate English certificate. A motivation interview is also required after submission.
