What the program is

The International Project Management Master’s programme at Vilnius University is a unique international modular programme designed for working students. It prepares highly skilled project management professionals who can lead teams and manage projects, programmes, and portfolios in business and private-sector environments.

Study focus and professional development

The programme was developed in cooperation with the Lithuanian Project Management Association and follows the logic of the International Competence Baseline of IPMA. Students develop skills in project organisation, business cases, project boards and steering committees, team leadership, analytical evaluation, communication, decision-making, organisational representation, and business ethics. The programme is registered in the International Project Management Association’s Education Programmes list, and graduates may have the possibility to obtain IPMA D Level certification, as well as a CPD Record & Proof of Participation Certificate and Digital Badge.

Career opportunities and Tuition

Graduates are prepared to lead projects, programmes, and portfolios in challenging international environments across the private and public sectors in Lithuania and abroad. They may also initiate and lead project, programme, and portfolio maturity improvement initiatives within organisations. The programme is 1.5 years full-time. Tuition is €5,450 for EU citizens and €6,550 for non-EU citizens.
