Fashion Design

The Fashion Design programme at Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution is a full-time collegial bachelor’s programme in Design, delivered in English over 3.5 years (7 semesters, 210 ECTS). It prepares students to design clothing collections individually or in teams, develop creative concepts for industrial and unique fashion production, and gain knowledge of fashion marketing, entrepreneurship, brand management, construction, sewing, materials, computer graphics, fashion photography, and market research. The programme is delivered at the Faculty of Arts and Education and leads to a Professional Bachelor in Arts qualification.

The programme includes internships, practical projects, and a final thesis, with graduates prepared for freelance fashion design, employment in fashion design companies, or establishing their own fashion-related businesses. Applicants must submit the required academic and identification documents, a motivational letter, at least one reference, an English proficiency certificate (IELTS ≥5.5, TOEFL ≥75, EnglishScore ≥400, or PTE ≥59), and a mandatory portfolio. Applicants without an accepted English certificate may take the institution’s B2-level English test for €45. The programme starts on September 1, with an application deadline of May 1, and tuition is €4,680.
