The Pastoral Care programme at St. Ignatius of Loyola College is a full-time collegial higher education programme in the field of Social Work and Social Sciences. It aims to prepare specialists who can support the spiritual health and social well-being of individuals, particularly those experiencing existential difficulties, based on Christian values. The programme lasts 3 academic years and comprises 180 ECTS, leading to a Professional Bachelor of Social Sciences qualification. Studies include social work, pastoral care, psychology, social welfare, pastoral consultancy, Christian social security, practical knowledge of the Bible, and three periods of professional practice in pastoral care.
The programme provides opportunities to work in health, care and education institutions, parish centres, religious organisations, and non-governmental organisations. Students can also participate in Erasmus+ exchange studies and internships, with monthly scholarships of €300–€700. The application deadline is 31 August and studies start on 1 September. However, the source states that admissions for international students to the Fall 2026 semester are not being conducted.
