The Bachelor of Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam focuses on the underlying technology of computer systems and the principles that support modern information technology. Students explore programming languages, computer networks, hardware, software design, web technology, algorithms, intelligent systems, databases, linear algebra, and computer-user interaction.
The programme is taught in English and takes 3 years to complete, corresponding to 180 ECTS credits. Students are trained to understand and develop computer technologies with applications ranging from self-driving cars to protecting sensitive data.
