What the program is

The Master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology is an interdisciplinary programme that trains engineers with scientific expertise in energy technology and the energy transition. Six departments contribute to the programme: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry, Applied Physics, Architecture, Building and Planning, and Industrial Engineering & Innovation Sciences.

Study focus and opportunities

The programme examines energy technologies from technical, economic and social perspectives. Students receive broad interdisciplinary training while developing deeper expertise in areas of the energy transition that interest them. Topics include energy markets, electricity networks, solar panels, solar collectors, heat pumps, wind energy, biomass and the global impact of renewable energy sources. The programme is taught in English and consists of 120 ECTS credits over two years.
