What the program is

The Construction Management & Engineering Master’s programme at the University of Twente focuses on managing increasingly complex construction projects by combining management expertise with digital and technological skills. The programme addresses contemporary challenges such as complicated supply chains, resource shortages, ageing infrastructure, technological advances, and the need for sustainable and future-proof buildings.

Study structure and requirements

The programme is taught in English, lasts 2 years, and comprises 120 ECTS. Students learn to manage processes across the construction lifecycle, including design, construction, maintenance, and demolition, with opportunities to focus on technological or organisational aspects. English-language requirements are IELTS 6.5 overall or TOEFL iBT 90. Tuition for 2026/2027 is €2,694 per year for EU/EEA students and €21,700 per year for both Non-EU/EEA and institutional students. The programme is accredited by NVAO.
