The Bachelor’s in Creative Technology at the University of Twente combines smart technology, artificial intelligence, design, creative processes, computer science, and electrical engineering. Students learn to design and build technology-based solutions for future challenges, including applications for urban flooding and social robots, while considering the impact of technology on people and using AI responsibly.
The 3-year, 180 ECTS programme is taught in English and covers the complete design process, from analysis and creative development to building and testing prototypes. Students collaborate across cultures and disciplines, develop entrepreneurial and inventive skills, and have room to pursue their own ideas and interests. The programme can also be followed at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, with occasional laboratory sessions at the University of Twente in Enschede.
