Amazon Italy Logistics SRL is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a full-time position in the Province of Rovigo, Veneto. The job description refers to the role as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Area Manager, with a primary focus on equipment reliability, team management, training, safety, preventive maintenance, and operational improvement.
The role includes supporting compliance with security policies and procedures, implementing European network standards, planning preventive maintenance interventions, ensuring the availability of technical tools, and collecting and analysing data to improve processes. The position also involves developing internal and network-level projects, managing and training engineering teams, monitoring performance, and creating operational plans to improve productivity and efficiency.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, extensive experience working within a maintenance team in an industrial or manufacturing environment, extensive people-management experience within engineering teams, experience managing relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers, and advanced written and spoken English with good Italian. Preferred qualifications include a technical degree, experience with regulatory compliance and machine safety, automated equipment, data analysis tools, PLC-based control systems, project management or Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma, and CMMS.
The minimum gross salary is €47,100 per year for full-time work.
Requirements

- Extensive experience managing people within engineering teams
- Extensive experience collaborating with and managing relationships with stakeholders, including third-party suppliers
- Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
- Good command of Italian

- Experience with regulatory requirements, including compliance audits and machine safety protocols — Preferred
- Experience with automated equipment, including packaging, sorting and conveyor machinery — Preferred
- Experience using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems — Preferred
- Experience in project management or Kaizen, Lean and Six Sigma processes — Preferred
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) — Preferred
