Job Description

Lily of the Valley La Croix-Valmer is recruiting a Head Waiter/Waitress for a permanent, full-time Room Service position in La Croix-Valmer, France. Under the responsibility of the Room Service Manager, the role is responsible for the smooth operation of breakfast, lunch and dinner room service.

Responsibilities include taking and entering customer orders, coordinating with the Kitchen team, preparing and clearing trays, informing guests about hotel services, setting up VIP room receptions, and maintaining equipment and workspaces according to hygiene, operating and safety standards. The position also includes billing for Room Service and Mini-Bar and managing Room Service stock using Stocknet in the manager’s absence. When room service activity allows, the employee may assist with service at Vista.

Candidates should have knowledge of culinary arts, HACCP hygiene rules, and the luxury hotel/restaurant industry. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, teamwork, organization, rigour and professionalism are required. English proficiency is required, while another language is considered a plus.
