Yechte Consulting is looking for an experienced ICT Development Lead / C# Tech Lead to take technical responsibility for a software development team in Brussels, Belgium. The role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, application architecture, code quality, security, team coordination, and the professional development of four Full Stack Developers.
The ICT Development Lead will actively contribute to development using C#, .NET, Angular, and TypeScript, while defining and evolving application architecture in coordination with the ICT Manager. Responsibilities include maintaining code quality and consistency, evaluating new technologies, enforcing OWASP and security practices, reviewing Pull Requests, ensuring unit and integration testing, supporting production deployments, and working with the DevOps & Systems Engineer on deployment processes.
The role also involves supervising and prioritizing the daily work of the development team, supporting junior developers, leading daily meetings, sprint reviews and retrospectives, evaluating performance, identifying training needs, contributing to sprint planning and workload estimation, and translating strategic ICT directions into practical development plans.
Candidates should have at least 7 years of software development experience and 2 years in a Lead, Tech Lead, or senior leadership role, with advanced C#/.NET and Angular/TypeScript skills. Strong knowledge of software architecture, Git, Azure DevOps, testing, databases, application security, and code review is required.
