Schiphol is looking for a Construction Logistics Advisor to support major construction and infrastructure programmes within the Schiphol airport environment. The role combines strategic construction logistics advisory, stakeholder management, and operational leadership, with responsibility for helping projects progress safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to airport operations.
The advisor will develop construction logistics strategies, logistical requirements, and execution frameworks for complex projects. Responsibilities include advising project teams on site logistics, transport flows, access routes, storage facilities, lifting operations, equipment movements, and logistics risks. The role also involves coordinating with contractors, project leadership, airport operations, security, safety teams, and other stakeholders, as well as reviewing logistics plans and delivery scenarios against safety, capacity, scheduling, constructability, and operational-impact criteria.
A key responsibility is managing the Logistics Hub and associated facility-management contracts covering transportation services, catering, security, cleaning, and reception. Candidates must have a completed Master’s degree in Logistics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a comparable technical discipline, together with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in complex construction, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
