Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) — CI/CD, Build Systems & Developer Environments

Autonomous Teaming is hiring a full-time Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) in Munich, Germany. The role focuses on building and evolving the engineering infrastructure used by software teams to build, test, integrate, and release products reliably.

The engineer will take ownership of CI/CD and build infrastructure, design pipelines and release workflows, improve build performance and reliability, create reproducible developer and testing environments, and develop internal automation using Python and Bash. The position also involves working with build systems such as Bazel and CMake and supporting software delivery across cloud, on-premise, and embedded or edge environments.

Candidates should have proven experience with production CI/CD systems, developer platforms, build infrastructure, or release engineering. Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, Python and/or Bash is required, along with experience using a major CI platform such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins. Experience with compiled software environments, particularly C++, is also valuable.

The role involves close collaboration with software, robotics, AI/ML, QA, and security engineers. Experience with Bazel, CMake, Yocto, Terraform, Ansible, Nix, embedded Linux, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or other complex hardware/software environments is an advantage.
