Air Traffic Management – dual

The Bachelor of Science in Air Traffic Management – dual is a full-time, English-language undergraduate program based in Worms. The six-semester dual program combines air traffic controller training with business studies, covering air traffic management, aviation management, business administration, aircraft operation, aviation analytics, tourism and travel management, aeronautical English, and business English. The program is delivered in cooperation with DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, with study phases at Hochschule Worms and training phases at the Air Navigation Services Academy in Langen.

Study Structure and Admission

The program is offered in both the Summer and Winter Semesters and has local admission restrictions. Students complete their first three semesters at Worms, followed by air traffic controller initial training after the third semester. The training leads to the student air traffic controller licence at the end of the fifth semester, while the sixth semester combines the bachelor’s thesis with practical training at DFS regional offices. Applicants must apply to DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH and subsequently apply to Worms University of Applied Sciences through the central application procedure.
