The Master’s in Applied Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Groningen develops knowledge and practical skills for investigating how the human mind works and applying cognitive neuroscience to fundamental and real-world research questions. The programme prepares students for research careers in academia and industry, including applications involving human data, marketing effectiveness, human-friendly systems and traffic safety.
Students develop skills to analyse human data as data scientists or analysts, measure and improve marketing effectiveness, design and test human-friendly systems, and evaluate and improve traffic safety. The programme provides a deeper understanding of the human mind and focuses on preventing cognitive errors and improving human functioning. It is taught in English and comprises 60 ECTS credits over one year.
