What the Program Is

The Applied Data Science & Business Analytics program at the International School of Management (ISM) is a full-time Bachelor of Science program focused on data science, business analytics, statistics, business mathematics, information systems, and management. The program combines programming, applied data science, market analytics, big data, business intelligence, machine learning, and AI with fundamentals of business administration and digital transformation. It is taught in English and is available at campuses in Dortmund, Frankfurt am Main, München, and Hamburg.

Study Structure and Requirements

The program takes 6 semesters and includes an integrated semester abroad, with an optional second semester abroad. Students also complete a 20-week internship, including at least 10 weeks in an international context. Admission can be based on a general higher education entrance qualification, entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences, completed vocational baccalaureate, or professional qualification, followed by the university’s internal admission process.
