Applied Health Informatics and Digital Medicine

The Applied Health Informatics and Digital Medicine program is a part-time Master of Science degree designed for professionals with backgrounds in Medicine, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences and at least one year of relevant professional experience in medicine or computer science. The program focuses on Health Informatics, Digital Transformation, Data Management, Data Integration and Interoperability, Biostatistics and Ethics, Digital Health Applications, Machine Learning, Signal and Image Processing, Innovation Management, Business Administration, and Health Economics. The program is taught in English and has a standard duration of 4 semesters.

Admission is available for the winter semester only. Applicants must hold a first academic degree, such as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Natural Sciences, or a completed medical degree, along with at least one year of relevant professional experience and English language skills at level B2. Tuition is EUR 6,650 per semester, in addition to the RWTH Aachen University semester contribution. The program is offered under private law by the RWTH International Academy rather than directly by RWTH Aachen University.
