What the program is

The B.Eng. Applied Mechatronic Systems is an undergraduate program combining mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, systems engineering, and robotics. Students develop skills in mathematics, physics, statistics, programming, electromechanical system design, control systems, microcontrollers, robotics, machine learning, smart manufacturing, and related technologies. The program also includes laboratory work, agile methods, practical company projects, and Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certificate Program (SMSCP) certification at Levels 1–2.

Study details and admission

The program is taught in English, lasts 7 semesters, and is available in Berlin or Heidelberg, Germany. Admission is without admission restriction, and applicants need a general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or alternatively a professional qualification plus three years of professional experience. Proof of command of English, a CV with a current passport photo, and identification documents are also required.
