Architecture – Design for the Built Environment

The Master of Arts in Architecture – Design for the Built Environment at SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg is a graduate programme focused on architecture and design. It addresses contemporary challenges in the built environment, including cultural heritage and identity, social change, climate change, and resource scarcity, while exploring the future of architecture and cities. The programme is taught in English and has a standard duration of 3 semesters in Heidelberg.

Admission requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Architecture with a final grade of at least 2.5 and either 210 ECTS or 180 ECTS plus a 30-ECTS preparatory course. Applicants must also provide proof of English, a motivation letter, a CV, an architecture portfolio of at least 30 pages, and participate in an interview. Tuition is €840 per month, with a one-time registration fee of €750 for EU/EEA students or €1,000 for non-EU/EEA students. The programme accepts applications for both the Summer and Winter semesters, and applications can be submitted at any time.
