Artificial Intelligence for Smart Sensors and Actuators

The Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence for Smart Sensors and Actuators is a full-time graduate programme offered at the Lehrcampus Cham of Technische Hochschule Deggendorf. The programme focuses on Artificial Intelligence, with key areas including Machine Learning, Autonomous Systems, Sensor Technologies, and Data Processing Methods. It is designed for prospective students with backgrounds in mechatronics and related graduate or undergraduate fields.

The programme has a standard duration of 3 semesters and is taught in English. Admission is available for both the Summer and Winter Semesters and is without admission restriction. Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field with at least 210 ECTS credits, or an equivalent qualification. For applicants with qualifications from non-member states of the Lisbon Convention, a GATE or GRE (general) certificate and a recognised German language certificate are advised, and an aptitude procedure may also be required. There are no tuition fees; however, a student union fee of EUR 82 per semester applies, with possible variations in service fees for international applicants from non-EU countries.
