Atmospheric and Climate Sciences

The Atmospheric and Climate Sciences program is a full-time Master of Science degree focused on Meteorology. The four-semester program is taught in English and covers areas including Experimental Atmospheric Research, Climate and Atmospheric Dynamics Theory, Modelling of Mesoscale Processes and the Climate, Aerosols and Environmental Research, Climate System and Processes, Atmospheric Chemistry, Material Cycles, and English for Academic Purposes.

Admission is available for the Winter Semester only. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology, or a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with at least 20 credit points in Meteorology, or an equivalent degree from a university or college with a standard study period of at least six semesters. Applicants whose first-degree grade is below “satisfactory” (3.0) must attend a consultation interview. The stated application period is 04/01–08/31, and the international and general deadlines for Winter Semester are marked as expired.
