What the program is

The Master’s programme in Biology at the University of Groningen is a two-year, 120 ECTS programme taught in English. It provides advanced training across biological research, allowing students to choose from six research profiles, including areas such as Evolutionary Medicine, Modelling in the Life Sciences, and Microbiome Research. Students can also orient their studies toward careers in policy, industry, or consultancy and customize their curriculum through flexible electives and personal mentorship.
