The Business, Economics and Governance doctoral programme at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) is a research-based doctoral programme within the School of Business and Governance. The programme is a doctoral-level qualification worth 240 ECTS and has a nominal duration of 8 semesters (4 years). The language of instruction is English and Estonian, while the Public Policy and Innovation doctoral studies are specifically described as English, full-time, with lectures held in the evenings. Studies are free of charge, and during the nominal four-year study period, the doctoral student-junior researcher is entitled to a gross monthly income from €2,300. Admission requires a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. For Public Policy and Innovation, a Master’s degree in public administration, political science, or another social sciences field is preferred, although applicants from other fields may also apply depending on the research topic.
