Circus and Performance Art

The Circus and Performance Art programme at Fontys University of Applied Sciences is a two-year English-taught programme focused on contemporary circus and performance. The programme covers a wide range of circus disciplines alongside clowning and techniques such as Vertical Dance, Break-Dance, mime, movement, performance, and object work.

Interdisciplinary Performance

Students have the opportunity to combine circus art with other artistic disciplines, including drama, fine arts, dance, music, and sport. The programme is delivered through collaboration with other disciplines within the Fontys School of Performing and Visual Art and the Fontys Sports Academy.
