The Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science at the University of Twente explores how communication influences human behaviour in a digital society. Students examine communication through social media, smart apps, and digital campaigns, while also exploring how communication can address societal challenges such as misinformation, sustainable behaviour, and mental health.
The programme focuses on three key themes: behaviour in a digital society, organisational communication, and the role of design and technology. Students study in an international environment with personal guidance and can prepare for careers in marketing, government communications, media, education, and consultancy, or continue with a specialised master’s degree.
