About the Program

The Master’s program in Cultural Heritage Development at European Humanities University focuses on the research, development, management, and protection of cultural heritage. Students participate in experimental laboratories combining research with practical activities, explore European approaches to heritage development through examples from Vilnius, St. Petersburg, Florence, and Athens, and gain practical experience at cultural and heritage institutions. The program develops skills in identifying the cultural, social, and socio-economic potential of heritage within an international academic environment.

Program Structure and Admission

The full-time program lasts 1.5 years and comprises 90 ECTS credits. Instruction is conducted in Russian and English. The curriculum includes heritage philosophy, European politics of heritage, project management, applied research, intercultural communication, cultural industries, sustainable development, and a research project and Master’s paper. Admission requires a Bachelor’s degree, English proficiency at B2 level or higher, an online application, submission of the required documents, and an online interview. English proficiency may be demonstrated through an Advanced Speech Test, TOEFL/IELTS certification, or qualifying EHU Bachelor’s English grades.
