Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies: Organization, Society, and the Arts is an international, interdisciplinary program in Lüneburg focusing on Cultural Studies, Organization Studies, Research Methods, Culture, Economy and Society, Arts and Institutions, and cultural organization in practice. The English-language program is structured around three central pillars: The Arts, exploring art and culture and their role in global discourse; Organisation, examining cultural institutions and the organizational conditions of cultural production; and Society, addressing the role of art and culture in sociopolitical debates and social change. The degree also includes a Leuphana semester, a minor, and complementary studies.

Study and Admission

The program takes 6 semesters and starts in the winter semester. Teaching is primarily in English, and applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency. Admission is locally restricted, with academic performance and additional achievements or experience considered during the admission process. Tuition fees are not charged for this regular degree program; students are subject only to semester contributions.
