Design

The Design bachelor’s programme at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences allows students to choose a design discipline during their first year, including Advertising & Beyond, Animation, Audiovisual Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, Product Design, or Spatial Design. The programme reflects Rotterdam’s strong design tradition and combines a practical, hands-on approach with innovative and personal design development.

Programme Details

This is a 4-year, 240-ECTS Bachelor of Arts programme taught in English. Digital media are integrated into the curriculum from the beginning and are treated both as design tools and as an important professional field for designers. The programme is accredited by NVAO. For 2026/2027, tuition is €2,694 per year for EU/EEA students and €10,684 per year for Non-EU/EEA and Institutional students.
