Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in E-Mobility and Autonomous Driving is an international, practice-oriented program combining Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Automation Technology, Sensor Technology, and Programming. The curriculum covers areas such as e-mobility, autonomous driving, motion control, energy storage, charging technology, sensor networks, signal processing, and artificial intelligence. The program includes laboratory work, projects, an industry internship, and a Bachelor’s research project.

Study Details

The program has a duration of 7 semesters and is offered in Mannheim in the Winter Semester only. The first two semesters are taught in English with intensive German language training; from the third semester onwards, technical courses and examinations are taught in German. Admission requires IELTS 6.5 overall, TOEFL iBT 88, or OTE 130 for English. German is not an admission prerequisite, although A2 German is recommended. Tuition is €1,500 per semester. The program is accredited according to national standards by Acquin and the Accreditation Foundation Council.
