Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources (ESSMER) is an interdisciplinary program focusing on Geosciences and Sustainability Sciences. It develops a holistic understanding of the Earth system, including interactions between land, atmosphere, oceans, and the biosphere, while addressing the sustainable management of environmental resources such as water, soils, biological and energy resources, and minerals.

Study Details

The program is taught in English and has a duration of 6 semesters in Bremen. It is offered in the Winter Semester only and uses a selection procedure / qualifying examination. Admission requires an application form, essay, recommendation letter, school certificates, an Abitur or international equivalent, and an English language test such as TOEFL. Tuition is €20,000 per year.
