The Ecology and Climate Change Master’s programme at Vytautas Magnus University prepares specialists to understand the effects of climate change on ecosystem processes, species diversity and distribution, and environmental management and protection. Students develop the ability to identify ecological and climate change issues, anticipate environmental changes, propose solutions, develop environmental strategies, make innovative decisions, and enhance ecosystem adaptability and ecosystem services.
The programme is a 2-year full-time Master’s degree. Tuition is €5,641 for EU citizens and €6,000 for non-EU citizens. Applicants need an undergraduate diploma or higher and a Bachelor’s degree diploma with supplement or equivalent degree; additional courses might be required. A minimum 60% CGPA is required. The admission score is calculated from the Bachelor’s diploma supplement average (40%), English grade (30%), and motivation letter (30%), with a minimum qualifying admission score of 5.4.
