The Electronics and Telecommunication Technologies Master’s programme at Vilnius University prepares students to develop, integrate, and maintain advanced technologies in electronics and telecommunications. The programme combines scientific knowledge with practical engineering skills for careers in industry and research, with a focus on modern electronics, telecommunications, embedded systems, and advanced communication technologies.
The programme covers digital system analysis and design, information systems, Linux embedded systems, electronic materials, mobile radio links, distributed computing, microcontrollers, nanoelectronics, optoelectronic devices, electrodynamics, microwave electronics, and scientific research. Students can also choose optional subjects such as antenna engineering, applied terahertz physics, artificial intelligence, and wireless channel modelling. The fourth semester is dedicated to a Master’s final thesis in Electronic Engineering, applying knowledge to a real-world electronics or telecommunications problem.
The programme is 2 years full-time. Tuition is €5,641 for EU citizens and €6,500 for non-EU citizens.
